Once a year, our family gets together at some nice restaurant and is treated by my folks to a fabulous brunch.  It’s a great opportunity to see people that we haven’t seen in a long time and share laughs, gossip and latest news.  Today is that day.  Fun is being had.  Brunch is being gobbled.  It’s a good day.

Well, it’s a good day for everyone but me.  I, of course, am at work.  As usual.  This makes me sad. 

Dammit!  I want my waffles!
