Oh, I cannot even bear to read that article. The headline did it all. I always HATE when they release those figures because I get so darn flippin’ MAD. We should GET PAID to fill up with gas right now!!!! Hell, maybe if they’d QUIT GOUGING US, they might decrease their profit by 10% or something. *oh no!*
Perhaps I’m the only one that smiled when I read that article ... My kids have loads of Exxon stock from their grandparents (he was a VP with them for many, many years) and they’re going to be set for life because of it. It makes me feel warm and fuzzy that they’ll be able to support themselves and not mooch off me their entire lives.
(Kidding about that last part as I have nothing to mooch. Sure wish I had some Exxon stock.)
