Ok, I've been listening to the same music now for quite some time and I gotta tell you, I'm ready for something new. I mean, honestly, how much Enya can one person listen to in a lifetime?
Can you help me out here? Who's new? Who's hot? What are you listening to that I'm not? I'm open to anything. Country, bubblegum, opera, hip-hop, smooth jazz, Memphis blues, goth rock, swing. You name it, I'll listen.
So tell me, who are you listening to these days?
P.S. I'm only sorta kidding about Enya. I find her to be great brain music when I'm at work. Just sayin'.
My two favorite CDs that I've bought recently: Hopes & Fears by Keane, and How To Save A Life by The Fray. I've also been listening to a lot of Anna Nalick and Michelle Featherstone lately.
Posted by: geeky at May 24, 2006 08:28 AMMichael Buble. He is AWESOME! Google him, I'm sure he has a website where you can hear samples of his music.
Posted by: KathyHowe at May 24, 2006 09:32 AM"Spoon" is supposed to be pretty good.
Ottmar Liebert- it's flamenco guitar and some good stuff...
but if you want to be like the cool kids you should download these songs off of iTunes:
Promiscious- Nelly Furtado
SOS- Rhianna
Wanna Love you- Robin Thicke
I could keep going ;)
Posted by: Meeta at May 24, 2006 10:38 AMpink's new album is really good. there's only two songs on it i don't like (whereas her last album there were only two songs i did like).
other than that, i'm in the same boat you are.
