When I was a kid, I loved comic books. Just loved 'em!! Mostly Spiderman, Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, that kind of thing. Archie and Richie Rich would do in a pinch, but to feed my comic book appetite I needed action heroes. Well, the truth is, I never really stopped loving comic books. I rarely read any of them anymore but they still have a warm place in my heart (I really gotta get that looked at!).
Lately I have been sort of obsessed by comic book art. Man, these artists are all kinds of talented!! Comic Book (or Graphic Arts) artist was something that I always wished that I could be. Alas, I seem to be better suited to sitting at a desk behind a computer 'technically supporting' others all day. C'est la vie.
Anyway, here is a small sampling of some recent works by various artists. See what I mean? These guys are wacky!!
