Hello? Is this thing on?

See, the problem with returning to the blogging world (as a blogger and not just a reader) is twofold, no threefold. Wait, I think it may actually be fourfold. Well, whatever it is, it's pretty damn foldy!

First there's the problem of "What if I decide quitting is funner than returning"? I can't just keep having farewell posts. Who do I think I am....Cher?

Next, there's the problem of having stuff to say. It might be like "Hey everybody!! I'm back!! And now I.....well, you see......ummm......yeah, I got nuthin'." How depressing would that be?

There's also the issue of credibility. "I quit!" "I'm back!" "No, I quit!" "Ok, I'm back!" Make up your damn mind already!!

So after mulling all of those items, I think I might give it another go. But this time, with a few differences. First and most importantly, I'm getting rid of the blogging devil itself - the hit counter. I believe that in itself has ruined more bloggers than any other single factor. Trust me folks, if you monitor that kind of thing, you will never be satisfied. Never.

Second, no self-pressure to post. That's one of the things that killed me before. If I don't post but once a week, I'll forgive myself. I'm just that kinda guy.

And lastly........Hi everyone! I hope you have all been well. Mwwwwaaahh!!

Oh, and if anyone happens to see Kate Hudson anywhere around, could you let her know where to find me? I've STILL got a hell of a mortgage. Thanks a bunch!
