Just when I'm starting to feel pretty good about my age...just when I'm starting to think that I'm not that old...just when I begin to even feel a bit sprightly...my son, Christopher, has to go and turn 23. 23?? How the hell did that happen? Wait...wasn't I just 23? Yeah, I was. I remember it like it was yesterday. Ok, maybe the day before yesterday. I was feeling good and had my whole life ahead of me. What a great age!
So, Chris, I hope you have a great day today and, while you're at it, a great life, as well. Happy Birthday, Tater Tot.
I love you.

Happy Birthday! And listen to your Dad, time is going to start flying by now. I still feel like I should be 23, but I'm 33. How the heck did that happen?
Enjoy your day!

My eldest turns 15 in two weeks and I find myself thinking the same thing: how'd he get this old? Wasn't he, yesterday, just going off to preschool?
