Bad with the good

The bad news: My partner in crime, JJJJB, is on vacation and, being a team of two, my work just doubled.

The good news: This is the end of his vacation time this year (I think he must get 23 or 24 weeks!!) and I have two weeks off coming up. Woohoo!

The bad news: I have approximately no drive. I'm not feeling completely up to snuff and I just want to go relax with a book and a cat in my way comfy recliner.

The good news: There is light at the end of this tunnel that we call "today" and I will soon be in aforementioned chair. Whether or not a cat joins me is up in the air.

The bad news: Actually, I can't think of any more bad news.

The good news: The fact that I can't think of any more bad news.

I hope you guys are all doing well and that your good news lists are much longer than your bad news lists.

Good News: I am done for the day with classes and work!

Bad News: I am going to kill the UPS person who is not here yet with my hard drive I want to install on my desktop.

Good News: My desktop is getting fixed! Woo hoo!! I can use it again after it being dead for a month

Good news: I have 3 hours till I go home
Bad news: 2 of them will be spent in a meeting.

If you need a cat to go with your recliner, I probably can spare one - I have 3... lemme know.

Bad news: I didn't get a lot of sleep last night and woke up feeling like hell.

Good news: Because of that situation, I was able to skip out of a Ph.D interview I had today, and the people were nice enough to reschedule it.

Bad news: I couldn't find an outfit to wear to the interview.

Good News: I didn't have to go. So I'm at work in jeans and a T-shirt.

Good News: Went to a show last nite.
Bad News: Now I am tired.
Good News: I have lots of coffee.
Bad News: Now I have to pee.
Good News: I have become enlightened. I have risen above the moors and taboos of the workplace and I feel perfectly fine about peeing at my desk.

Bad News: Enlightenment wearing off. It may have been something someone slipped me at the show. Now covered in pee.

Good news: Albuquerque has.
Bad news: Albq. has high crime & old man doesn't like the job description
Good news: Rio Rancho (near Albq) has no crime and is warm and sunny!
Bad news: Think old man is going to take the job here instead.
