Rodney Dangerfield (1921 - 2004)
A girl phoned me the other day and said "Come on over, there's nobody home." I went over. Nobody was home.
My wife is always trying to get rid of me. The other day she told me to put the garbage out. I said to her I already did. She told me to go and keep an eye on it.
My wife's jealousy is getting ridiculous. The other day she looked at my calendar and wanted to know who May was.
I drink too much. Last time I gave a urine sample there was an olive in it.
My wife was afraid of the dark...then she saw me naked and now she's afraid of the light.
My mother never breast-fed me. She told me she liked me as a friend.
If it weren't for pickpockets, I'd have no sex life at all.

Posted by: debby at October 6, 2004 07:51 AMHe was one funny man... and will be missed. He gets my respect.
Posted by: Karen at October 6, 2004 08:31 AMAs a kid, I watched him on the Ed Sullivan show. And he was funny to me, even as a kid. He was one of a kind, and will be missed.
"One night I asked a cabbie to take me where the action is. He took me to my house."
"I bought a new Japanese car, I turned on the radio ... I don't understand a word they're saying."
When I was born, I was so ugly the doctor slapped my mom.
Posted by: ben at October 6, 2004 09:21 AMWhen I was born, the doctor came in and told my mom that he did all he could... And, he pulled through.
Posted by: Gary at October 6, 2004 09:34 AMHe was unique and will be missed.

"Caddyshack" That's all I'm gonna say. :-)
My only memory of Rodney was "Ladybugs". LOL. I'm obviously too young to remember the other stuff.

BACK TO SCHOOL - "Why read the book when I can see the movie and be in and out in two hours".
He totally gets respect and we get tears. This totally sucks. Rodney we will miss you.
Posted by: Jack at October 6, 2004 12:32 PMMay he rest in peace.
I don't remember many of his movies. The only one I really remember is Ladybugs. I saw it when I was really young though.
