Picture Day - by request

For today's pictures by request day, D has asked for a beach/ocean pic. Well, there are about a million different kinds of beaches, so what to choose? Let's see, there are the classic "Pacific Island" type beaches like this:

But my personal favorites are the "New Engand rocky type" beaches like this:

I like the rocky picture. The beach only reminds me that I would be expected to wear a bikini or something that may horrify the masses.

~you are making me jealous seeing i am stuck in a bland office pit right now looking at amazing beaches and ocean...well, there's always vacation to look forward to taking...xlnt pics BTW~

since the second one doesn't have any sand, isn't it technically not a beach but a coastline...? just askin.

Both pictures are beautiful!!! I love the sea, I wish I lived closer to it... but then I'd miss the mountains where I live now. Sure would be nice to have BOTH. ;-) So much to ask.

I'm glad you're back today, sorry I didn't comment, they weren't cooperating yesterday. Was thinking about ya.

I'd rather be near sand than rocks. Especially Hawaiian sand. I've only been to Hawaii once, and my body actually doesn't like traveling that much. But I'd go back to Hawaii in a heartbeat (actually closer to a 13 hour flight - both ways - but I could deal with it.)
