For today's pictures by request day, D has asked for a beach/ocean pic. Well, there are about a million different kinds of beaches, so what to choose? Let's see, there are the classic "Pacific Island" type beaches like this:
But my personal favorites are the "New Engand rocky type" beaches like this:
Posted by Buzz at April 29, 2004 09:44 AMhmmm both beautiful but I'd prefer the first one right now... Oh yeh.. what I'd give to be lying on that beach right now sipping cocktails!! *sigh* back to reality!!
Posted by: Cheeky Girl at April 29, 2004 09:54 AMI like the first better. But, let's get back to Natasha. Shall we? ... mmm Natasha ...
Posted by: Gary at April 29, 2004 09:58 AMI like the rocky picture. The beach only reminds me that I would be expected to wear a bikini or something that may horrify the masses.
Posted by: Charlene at April 29, 2004 09:59 AMlol I'm with Charlene on this one.
Posted by: Ash at April 29, 2004 09:59 AM~you are making me jealous seeing i am stuck in a bland office pit right now looking at amazing beaches and ocean...well, there's always vacation to look forward to taking...xlnt pics BTW~
Posted by: btezra at April 29, 2004 10:01 AMI'm with Cheeky Girl.
Posted by: MIKE at April 29, 2004 10:04 AMEither works for me right now. As long as I can go feeling 100% and not still be sick.
Posted by: Krush at April 29, 2004 10:05 AMI adore you!
I'm taking the Pacific and making it my background today! Tomorrow.... Rocky Islands!

Posted by: -d at April 29, 2004 10:15 AMsince the second one doesn't have any sand, isn't it technically not a beach but a coastline...? just askin.
Posted by: P at April 29, 2004 10:30 AMBoth pictures are beautiful!!! I love the sea, I wish I lived closer to it... but then I'd miss the mountains where I live now. Sure would be nice to have BOTH. ;-) So much to ask.
I'm glad you're back today, sorry I didn't comment, they weren't cooperating yesterday. Was thinking about ya.
Posted by: Karen at April 29, 2004 11:34 AMAs long as the beach is far away from home then I like it :)
Posted by: Jess at April 29, 2004 11:52 AMI'd rather be near sand than rocks. Especially Hawaiian sand. I've only been to Hawaii once, and my body actually doesn't like traveling that much. But I'd go back to Hawaii in a heartbeat (actually closer to a 13 hour flight - both ways - but I could deal with it.)
Posted by: Willie's Buddy Jimmy at April 29, 2004 04:16 PMThey are both beautiful!
