Dear Green Bay Packers,
Thank you.
Thank you for putting no pressure on the quarterback on a fourth and 26 that would have ended the game with you as victor. Thank you for throwing the ball so softly to us in overtime. Thank you for not going for that fourth and one that, again, would have won the game for you.
I guess what we're saying is thank you for giving us the game today. Thank you for doing for us what we were not able to do for ourselves.
We will do our best to make you proud that we are representing you and the rest of the NFC next week.
Love and kisses,
The Philadelphia Eagles.

Don't even start me...

Posted by: shortt at January 12, 2004 09:35 AMPPHHTT! Some of us like the Packers. DOH! And I'm not supposed to like football. While I watched in horror as the Packers loose, I thought, Well at least Buzz and the Empress will be happy. And No, I'm not making it up. I really did think that last night.
Posted by: Cornelia at January 12, 2004 09:42 AMAnd now, the Carolina Panthers have to visit Philly to play against the Eagles. Wasn't it enough for poor Buzz, that Carolina beat his Cowboys in the wildcard game?
