Bells on Bobtail ring

First of all, I like Christmas music every bit as much as the next guy - no not that guy, the one next to him - yeah him. And as much as I hate being a spoil sport (and I do), I just gotta tell you all that "Jingle Bells" is an awful song. Just awful! And no, it doesn't matter who does it.

It only took me forty-three years to figure it out, too.

Now if you'll excuse me, I'm off to listen to some Peanuts Christmas.

But you've never heard Critter shout Jingle Bells at the top of his lungs in the middle of the store. I'm sure you'd change you mind then. Really.

I think actually, it's a great song until you're 8 years old, then it becomes aweful!! UGH!

I can't BELIEVE that you're 43!!! And you like Peanuts Christmas music better than Jingle Bells?? Neither are on my top Christmas music list.

I promise not to sing Jingle Bells to you if I meet you in person. I won't sing and I won't slip aspirin into your drink. No, really. *evil grin*

If "Little Drummer Boy" is on a CD, I refuse to buy it. Ya gotta make a stand somewhere.

A Charlie Brown Christmas is the BEST Christmas album ever! There are a couple songs on there that make me somewhat suicidal though.

I never really thought about it, but you are right...

I do love "Little Drummer Boy," though, and the Peanuts was my favorite... till the South Park Christmas came out!!! :)

I teach English to French children and I hate it because it's the one that all the parents know and every one asks "Will you teach them Jingle Bells this year?

I love the Charlie Brown Christmas music, but even better is Nightmare Before Christmas. Now there's a real Christmas movie! Ok... maybe Rudolph is kinda good, and Frosty the Snowman, too... maybe...

Me and my stupid trivia again -

Did you know "Jingle Bells" was originally a Thanksgiving song, not a Christmas song?

Just thought I'd share that. :)
