Thanks Judi.

I just realized something. Something fairly profound. Well, profound for me anyway (I'm easily profounded). I was over on Judi's site and saw my name mentioned and it made me smile.

Then, the epiphany.

I have been doing this blogging thing since around January and in earnest since around March. As of May or so, I thought I was addicted to blogging. I even stated so here on this site. Turns out, I was wrong. I'm not addicted to blogging. Not even close. I could walk away from this tonight. I am not driven to write. I am not driven to spew my drivel onto you poor folks multiple times a day (yeah, sorry 'bout that).

I am, however, addicted. I am addicted to you. I am addicted to your posts and your comments and when we interact (even in the strange ways that bloggers interact). I am addicted to the emails that fly back and forth. I'm addicted to this strange, wonderful community that I have somehow been welcomed into.

And here's another thing. I used to be embarrassed by the word blogger(s) when I started doing this. "What an ugly word", I told everyone. I find now, that I actually embrace the word. "Are you a blogger". Yes. I am. "Do you blog?" Yes. Yes, I do.

And wouldn't have it any other way.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. I love you guys.

We're quite the little community! I know I'm glad to peek into the lives of everyone. I'm happy when good things happen and I like to offer my support during the bad times. I started blogging on a lark, and I'm happy to be a part of it all. You guys are great!

I'm with judi, I started just to see if I could do it. "Busy Mom' was the first thing not taken on Blogger.

Now it had grown into something entirely different, I think about you guys often.

You know, when you "think" the word blog or blogger it sounds fine but when you say it ...it...just...sounds...strange. Or so I used to think. I love my blog, I love my friends. I love the word blog! I am blogger hear me roar!
